A forever thrifter, I scored this sleeveless checkered blouse for .99cents Yay! Happy dance...the small things in life right?

I then added my forever 21 skinny jeans, old navy cardigan and my thrifted cloud walkers. I took along a pair of strappy yellow wedge shoes giving this outfit some contrast. I really love the navy & yellow.

 This vaccum shot is extremely fashion chic isn't it? ha ha. I didn't like my face in any of the pics so I chopped my head off.

 I am loving my newly thrifted coat. It has the nova check I love so much. Nice and cozy too.I really like the tan and purple combination. Promise eventually my pics will get better.

 After a quick run the the grocery store it was get down to business and cook. I spent the entire day making chicken N' noodles and chicken soup. Yum!

Fish Bones--

Overall I liked this outfit. I wish I wasn't so self aware about my wide upper arms because then I could wear sleeveless without worry. I always wear a cardi to cover my upper arms and lately it's just so hot and I really rather just be sleeveless. In the lower pictures I'm standing in my office that has quickly become overflowing with vintage finds that I sell on etsy. I am in the process of redoing this space. I get very moody when I feel disorganized and it seems we are pushing at the seams of this house.

I was so excited a few weeks back when I checked the mail and this little package was there. Even more excited when I opened the package and seen how cute it was wrapped. This etsy store pays attention to detail and I love that. I ordered a vintage fish bone necklace that I thought was different and would work well with my wardrobe. I just hate those back to school supply list ! Whatever happened to a pad of paper, box of crayons and a few pencils?

Not All Roses--

I really love to put modern and vintage pieces together. Today I decided to wear a skirt my Mom sent me, but I've not got around to wearing. It's a cute floral print that buttons all the way down. I've always admired other bloggers who put turquoise and red together and I've wanted to try that combination myself. I accessorized with pops of red, even adding a red daisy scarf to my vintage bag. I'm off to the library then grocery store.

Lusting After Charlotte--

I'm so loving Charlotte Russe right now. Partially because I can find shoes in a size 11 that are stylish and reasonably priced. Their clothing is limited to a xl so I just shop their shoes&accessories unless I'm shopping for my daughter :) Plus they take Paypal.

So when my package arrived with it's two pair of boots and a little converse necklace for my daughter (see below) I was so excited. My excitement  faded just a little when I saw the actual color of the tan boot. Something about it's color and texture scream fake leather. Yes, they are fake leather but I have lots of faux leather items that could pass for the real deal. The black pair also has a strange greenish tint to it...ah, maybe it's my imagination.  The three pair of shoes below are on my LUST list from the Charlotte Russe store...a girl can dream.
